VOLUNTEER

Community Kinship Coalition Inc. constitutes a family of educators, counselors, advocates, and mentors offering a sanctuary brimming with resources and nurturing care. Our holistic programming and activities are designed to support our members' growth in a comprehensive manner.

As a volunteer, your addition to our network of support is invaluable. Your role may vary from being a mentor engaging with our members' development, a planner of fundraising initiatives, to a contributor assisting with special projects or imparting knowledge as a guest speaker. Your involvement is a cherished extension of our CKC family.

​Mentoring and Speaking Opportunities
  • Youth-Related Mentor: Support young members aged 7–12 through bi-annual projects and recreational activities, including enriching outings on designated Saturdays.
  • Teen and Alumni Mentorship: Provide flexible guidance to our teenagers and recent alumni, fostering their journey into adulthood with possibilities for shadowing and internships.
  • Guest Speaker: Share your professional expertise to inspire our members with insights into career pathways and educational opportunities.

Supportive Roles and Contributions
  • Fundraising & Organizational Support: Join the Friends of CKC, a collective dedicated to orchestrating networking and fundraising events, with a suggested annual contribution.
  • Special Projects: Offer your time to assist in community efforts and administrative tasks during special events.
