Protect The Prodigy (PTP) was founded by Mr. George A. Hodge on January 7, 2017. PTP's mission is to offer advocacy, motivation, and resources to all youths who aspire to be empowered. The PROTECT THE PRODIGY SUMMIT is an event tailored specifically for male youths ages 14–21, designed to provide support, empowerment, and resources in the areas of education, skill development, employment, and the cultivation of a positive self-image.
PTP's goal is to foster collaboration between youth and community stakeholders. The summit aims to create an environment conducive to open dialogue among youth, community leaders, businesses, public education entities, the media, and law enforcement. This will facilitate the development of information, resources, programs, and services that meet youths where they are, thereby creating boundless opportunities for success. Community Kinship Coalition Inc. will proudly launch the PROTECT THE PRODIGY SUMMIT on April 15, 2017, at the Seat Pleasant Activity Center located at 5720 Addison Rd., Seat Pleasant, MD, 20743, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The PTP motto, "Tying the Roots of Our Past to the Branches of Our Future," reflects the unwavering support, commitment, and dedication of our community partners. With this, we affirm: All things start with possibilities. |
